The Leeflangs: 2013

Picture overload warning! It's been a long time!

Joey had knee surgery in December that didn't go quite as planned. The 1.5 hr case ended up taking 6 hrs due to many complications. We were so glad when it was over

3 days later they thought he had a blood clot in his lungs, so he spent another 30 hrs being monitored and having every test they could think of...luckily they all came back with good news and we were able to take him home. Sadly 5 weeks later the same situation happened to a 35 yr old dad of 5 and he died. So glad Joey survived the scary incident!!!

Christmas Eve

The girls were down with Nanny & Papa for the annual ice skating party during Joey's ER visit and came home just in time for Christmas

Joey and 2 of his best friends came for the evening to celebrate his 31st birthday. Dave and my brother Carlos

Wade took Woody & Buzz on rides all day long for weeks. This truck/rider he got for Christmas 2011 but loves it to pieces.

January 2013

Hannah got her first cavity and the laughing gas was literal for her...she was so funny!

Joey returned to work and Wade had gotten so used to him being around, he was extra glad everyday when he got home!

I got to go with Joey to his trauma conference in Las Vegas and stay at Caesars Palace. It was our 1st get-a-way with out kids in 3 yrs

For the 2nd time I got to go on my sister's annual trip to SLC. The kids were a mess when I left but survived the 3 days I was gone with Joey. I had a blast with my sisters and look forward to next years trip. Hope the 3 that missed out will get to go next time.

For our 11 yr anniversary Joey took me to Zions and left the kids with his sister. We had a blast strolling through shops and hiking angels landing (i also cut bangs, the 1st time since 8th grade and love them!)

Wade now sleeps in a big bed and does awesome!!! Some nights sleeping 15 hrs plus a nap in the afternoon.

The girls took private swim lessons from my niece Shellbe who is a life guard and teaches guard start. The girls are amazing swimmers now!

Joey took a 2 day get-a-way fishing at Beaver and said he had a blast and caught a ton of fish. We missed him...of course!
